athen's birthday party

"Giant Bubbles" was my idea for the activity part of Athen's 4th birthday party. Like a responsible Mom, I made, kid-tested and approved the giant bubble solution before hand. Only to have it not work at the park while it rained.

Blue butter cream frosting mini cupcakes from New York Cupcakes were a hit. Athen only ate the frosting.

The kids didn't seem to mind the rain as much as I did. The perk was: they had the whole park to themselves.

Unfortunately, I hardly took any photos. As the rain fell harder I worried about my camera getting wet. Too bad, the kids were really colorful....
